23 March 2023 – There is a company cold calling in the area going by ‘Energy Advice Agency’ advising that there are health risks associated with traditional loft insulation and offering a quote for spray foam insulation. There are no health risks associated with either traditional fibreglass or mineral fibre loft insulation when in place.
This type of insulation can cause damage to a property and so before having it done it is recommended that you seek advice from a qualified building surveyor, not the representative from the contractor.
