Throughout June various events have been – and will continue to be – held as part of the EU’s Energy Days programme.
In Monmouthshire the programme includes gardening courses, tours of zero carbon homes, cycling festivals and, of course, our own energy advice drop-in surgeries.
Yesterday (Thursday 15th June) our director Andrew attended an alternative vehicles exhibition in Abergavenny, and managed to get a sneak peek of Riversimple‘s new hydrogen-powered Rasa car.

Based in Llandrindod Wells, the car demonstrates a potentially revolutionary approach to fuelling vehicles, and reflects Riversimple’s aim of trying to eliminate the environmental impacts of personal transportation.
This exhibition was one of many varied events being held across the area. If you’re interested in finding out what other events are on, and where/when they are taking place, you can find the full programme here.
To celebrate EU Sustainable Energy Week (19th-25th June – check out the Twitter hashtag #EUSEW17 for latest updates) we will be hosting some drop-in surgeries. Check out our events page for more info, or get in touch.
We look forward to seeing some of you next week!
